Description
Quinn Mallory, while working on an anti-gravity machine, accidentally creates a portal to a parallel universe. Eventually, his friends and an unwilling participant accidentally get stuck traveling among parallel worlds, trying to survive, and learning that sliding can lead to fatal results. Meanwhile, among many changes in their group, they try to rescue the multiverse from the Kromagg Dynasty.

While trying to develop an anti-gravity device, physics genius Quinn Mallory instead creates a device that opens portals to alternative realities. After an accident leaves them lost, Mallory and his companions: his physics professor, Professor Maximillian Arturo, his work colleague and potential love, Wade Wells, and a washed-up soul singer, Rembrandt Brown, "slide" from reality to reality in search of home.

- Season 1: 1. Pilot (1995). In a San Francisco basement, physics post-graduate student Quinn Mallory has found a way to create portals to parallel universes. Inviting his physics professor Maximillian Arturo and his computer store colleague Wade Wells for a trip, a series of mishaps ropes in passing singer Rembrandt Brown and takes the Sliders off their planned route. Upon discovering a frozen world and one where Russia rules America, the quartet begins to doubt that they will be able to return to their own world anytime soon...

- Season 1: 4. Prince Of Wails (1995). The Sliders land in a world where the American colonists lost the Revolutionary War and where the British States of America now stands. The Sheriff of San Francisco plots to assume power through the murder of the heir, Prince Harold III. Professor Arturo assumes the sheriff's identity to save Quinn from execution, thwart the dastardly deed and bring new ideas on democracy to the people.

- Season 1: 6. Eggheads (1995). In a world where intelligence takes precedence over athletics, Quinn replaces his double who is in hiding and competes as the captain of team in a sport named "Mindgame" which implements rugby-style activity with answering high caliber questions. Quinn discovers that his double was targeted by thugs who want him to throw the game to satisfy his gambling debts.
- Season 1: 7. Weaker Sex, The (1995). In a world where women dominate authority and traditional gender roles are reversed, Professor Arturo becomes the first male candidate for mayor. Although initially welcoming of the advances of a powerful woman, Rembrandt laments the manner in which he is tricked and used.
- Season 1: 8. King Is Back, The (1995). In a world where Rembrandt was the King of Rock N Roll and where impersonators show homage through his fashion sense, the Sliders must team up with his double to save him from a crazy and jealous former band member.
- Season 1: 9. Luck Of The Draw (1995). In a seemingly Utopian world where population control is a priority, citizens play the lottery at local ATM machines. The more they withdraw from the public account, the more chances they have to "win" the jackpot. Wade winds up a winner and now has to keep her end of the deal which makes the next slide all the more urgent. Rembrandt is arrested for trying to help a lottery winner reverse her fortunes.
- Season 2: 1. Into The Mystic (1996). In a dark world of mysticism and witchcraft imagery, Quinn finds he has a bounty on his head or to be specific, his brain which a witchdoctor selects as payment after running out on a medical bill. The Sliders seek the "Sorcerer" who promises to return them home if they help him.
- Season 2: 2. Love Gods (1996). In a world where the vast majority of men have succumbed to a deadly virus, the male Sliders find themselves arrested and put into service as breeders at a re-population center.
- Season 2: 3. Gillian Of The Spirits (1996). In a world where technology has been banned after the event at Hiroshima, the Sliders must find a way to fix the timer that was damaged by lightning. Quinn doesn't fully materialize and must accompany his friends in a ghost-like state in the astral plane as they run into the Bureau of Anti Technology whose real motive is to build up their technological cache.
- Season 2: 4. Good, The Bad And The Wealthy, The (1996). In a world where San Francisco is part of the Republic of Texas and a combination of Western culture and technology exists along with saloons and office buildings, the Sliders find themselves in the middle of a hostile takeover attempt by corporate gunslingers who give the term "negotiate" a new meaning. Rembrandt finds himself at the exchange table where poker is played for corporate stock.
- Season 2: 5. El Sid (1996). In a world where San Francisco serves as a prison, two new sliders join the regulars. One is a woman, Michelle, whom Quinn saved from a beating. The other is her savage boyfriend, Sid, who followed them. The Sliders are fitted with buddy bracelets which are used in a buddy system of justice. If one "buddy" commits a crime then the other is punished. Of course Quinn is responsible for Sid's predictable actions. The timer becomes a hot commodity for both prisoners and guards who want to escape an earthquake doomed city.
- Season 2: 6. Time Again And World (1996). The Sliders land in a world where J. Edgar Hoover founded the nation and martial law has been in effect for 30 years. Chased by government officials, they must make a choice of whether to protect the last surviving copy of the Constitution which could sprout the idea of democracy or gain the release of a former judge who has some potential to be a new founding father.
- Season 2: 7. In Dino Veritas (1996). In a world where San Francisco is a national park for the endangered dinosaurs, Professor Arturo stumbles and loses the timer. The Sliders are at the mercy of a poacher's whim if they want to survive but find assistance in a holographic park ranger.
- Season 2: 8. Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome (1996). In a world that greatly resembles the Sliders' place of origin, everyone must decide whether to stay or leave the doubles of their loved ones in order to find their way home. Professor Arturo's double steals the timer and claims the invention of Sliding as his own. A physical struggle ensues among the two professors.
- Season 2: 9. Obsession (1996). In a world where 10% of the population has psychic abilities, Rembrandt and Professor Arturo are arrested before a crime is committed. Wade falls for a man whom put himself in her dreams.
- Season 2: 10. Greatfellas (1996). In a world where Bugsy Siegel succeeded in establishing a gambling empire in Northern California controlled by organized crime, Rembrandt and the others inadvertently disrupt the marriage of two families. Mistaken for the FBI Deputy Director and the Incorruptibles, Rembrandt leads a severely underfunded crime unit in a sting in order to save himself and his friends.
- Season 2: 11. Young And The Relentless, The (1996). In a world with Howard Stern as president, adults over the age of thirty are treated as second class citizens who must then retire. Quinn fills in for his recently murdered double in an attempt to promote the EduLearn computer technology designed to replace human educators. However, he has seconds thoughts when he learns of this culture's desperate race to succeed before the mandatory retirement age. Arturo and Rembrandt handle curfew violations in a court of what is surely not their peers.
- Season 2: 12. Invasion (1996). After accidentally shooting down a spacecraft, the Sliders are pursued between worlds by the eye-eating Kromaggs, in their first appearance, as this new enemy hunts and then interrogates them for their home coordinates while in prison on Earth 113.
- Season 2: 13. As Time Goes By (1996). In a world where San Francisco is part of the Republic of Nueva Espana, the Sliders are arrested by immigration police and sentenced to deportation to Canada. Quinn meets up with an old high school flame, Daelin, who helps in the escape despite a great loss to her. In the next world, Quinn sets her up with his double in Seattle after an abusive relationship. In the third world, they slide into a jail cell where they await trial for the murder of Daelin, an undercover policewoman. In this realm, clocks and blocks of time move backwards for them alone. - Season 3: 1. Rules Of The Game (1996). In a world where all sports are banned except for televised war games, the Sliders must confront android dogs and soldiers in order to get to the only sanctuary at the finish line.
- Season 3: 2. Double Cross (1996). The sliders arrive on a world that has dwindling natural resources. While there, Rembrandt gets sidetracked by his number one fan. Meanwhile, Quinn and the others meet a group of scientists trying to perfect a sliding device of their own. While they may have the technology to get the sliders home, all is not what it seems.
- Season 3: 3. Electric Twister Acid Test (1996). The Sliders end up in a desert wasteland battered by an endless series of tornadoes. They find one agrarian village run by a dictatorial elder. Wade finds herself imprisoned while the rest are banished without the timer.
- Season 3: 4. Guardian, The (1996). On a world where time moves at a slower rate, Quinn encounters his young double and tries to change a traumatic event in his life. Meanwhile, Arturo decides that it's time to grab life by the horns and takes the others on increasingly wild excursions.
- Season 3: 5. Dream Masters, The (1996). The sliders encounter trouble on a world where social outcasts have harnessed the power of dreams. When Wade becomes the focus of this group, the sliders must rally together to protect her from her worst fears.
- Season 3: 6. Desert Storm (1996). On a desert world, the sliders get involved in a struggle for control over Devin, a young woman who can locate underground stores of water.
- Season 3: 7. Dragonslide (1996). The Sliders interrupt the abduction of a young woman, Melinda. Quinn is recognized by one of the attackers as a Mallory, prompting the attacker to turn into a bird and fly away. The Sliders pass the woman to the authorities and discover she is apprentice of a disgraced Druid, Gareth, who's been thrown out the movement for practicing black magic. Quinn is enamored by the girl and launches a rescue attempt. Gareth senses Mallory's desire for Melinda and uses her as bait. Having succeeded in capturing Mallory, Gareth transfers his own essence into Quinn's body. Meanwhile...
- Season 3: 8. Fire Within, The (1996). During a jump the sliders encounter a world consumed by fire. As they wait for the next jump, a matter of seconds, Quinn sees some diffused object coming towards them. They jump through the portal as the 'thing' follows them. They arrive in an oil town that has disturbing under currents of union and company actions. The flame creature reveals itself and begins burning everything, multiplying as it goes. - Season 3: 9. Prince Of Slides, The (1996). The Sliders arrive in a USA that is a constitutional monarchy. Arturo is injured during the slide, and Rembrandt is mistaken as the Prince of the USA. Complications set in when Lady Danielle has issues during her pregnancy, and the baby needs to be transferred in Rembrandt's body. Some years earlier a virus swept the world forcing all pregnancies to term during the second trimester. Rembrandt can carry the baby to term, but will miss the slide to do so. - Season 3: 10. Dead Man Sliding (1996). The Sliders arrive in a world virtually crime free. What criminals there are perform on a game show where they play for their lives. Mallory is captured due to previous convictions by his double on the world. The rest of the Sliders go to the studio where the show is made. The correct Mallory sees the show and is dumbfounded by the turn of events. As the trial continues, Wade and Rembrandt decide to uncover any information about the real crime they can. Despite Arturo's best efforts Mallory is found guilty and sentenced to death live on TV.

- Season 5: 2. Applied Physics (1999). The Sliders land on an Earth with a similar technology level to the one they just left. Dr Davis sets about trying to figure a way to separate the two Mallorys. She also has the unsettling experience of meeting herself in this new world. Beckett continues to struggle with the emotions of possibly losing her 'Mallory'.
- Season 5: 3. Strangers And Comrades (1999). The Sliders land on a non Earth world. They appear to be caught in another dimension. The situation becomes more desperate when their timer fails and they appear to be in the middle of Kromagg - Human war.
- Season 5: 4. Great Work, The (1999). The Sliders land on an island inhabited by Monks - With Maggi suffering from an fever or infection the team seeks help from the islanders. There seems to be more going on than the Monks are admitting too, and the sliders run the risk of missing their jump.
- Season 5: 5. New Gods For Old (1999). During a slide Mallory injures his back and is unable to walk. He hears of a group of faith healers who may be able to help him walk again. But to do so may come at an unacceptable cost.
- Season 5: 6. Please Press One (1999). The Sliders arrive in a cashless world controlled by Data Universal. Maggie is kidnapped and begins to be processed by an automatic system so she can become part of the Data Universal world.
- Season 5: 7. Current Affair, A (1999). The Sliders jump into a world dominated by media outlets. A chance encounter between Maggi and the current US President leads to wide spread news reporting she is having an affair with the president.
- Season 5: 8. Java Jive, The (1999). The Sliders arrive in a new world just as that world's Mallory is shot dead by Rembrandt and witnessed by Davis. The local police seem uninterested in the case, the reason for which become apparent very quickly.
- Season 5: 9. Return Of Maggie Beckett, The (1999). The Sliders arrive in a world in which Maggie is an internationally famous astronaut who died on a mission to Mars. Maggie initially enjoys the world until she is recognized and becomes the prize in an unusual tug of war.
- Season 5: 10. Easy Slider (1999). The Sliders arrive in a world where internal combustion engines have been banned. Some on this world - The "Smokers" oppose the law and wage a war against one of the few surviving oil refineries.
- Season 5: 11. Requiem (1999). Through a series of slide, Rembrandt begins to have hallucinations about a former team mate, Wade. When all the team begin to see random vortex opening around them Rembrandt becomes convinced Wade is still alive and the vortex can lead him too her.
- Season 5: 12. Map Of The Mind (1999). The Sliders land in a mental institution that is in the middle of riot in a world where creativity is banned. In the confusion they become separated and need to find each other before the vortex opens up again.
- Season 5: 13. Thousand Deaths, A (1999). The Sliders find themselves in a world seemingly devoted to gaming. They decide to take the opportunity to indulge themselves and have a holiday. They quickly discover the games are far more complex and dangerous than any of them realized.
- Season 5: 14. Heavy Metal (1999). After sliding into the ocean, the team find they need to make themselves useful to a group of modern day pirates in order to survive till their next slide.
- Season 5: 15. To Catch A Slider (1999). The team discover their timer for slides has begun to malfunction and is in need of repair. They have 48 hours to figure out how it works and effect repairs or risk being stranded in their current world.
- Season 5: 16. Dust (2000). The Sliders arrive in the middle of an archaeological dig. They discover they are in their old home town, however everything seems to have happened hundreds of years before. Then they find a fossilized timer.
- Season 5: 17. Eye Of The Storm (2000). The team find themselves sliding into a small area surrounded by a strange barrier. They encounter Professor Geiger who explains he's created the barrier and guided the sliders to this current world.
- Season 5: 18. Seer, The (2000). The sliders arrive in a world where their exploits are well known through the efforts of a man called the 'Seer'. As they prepare for their final jump home the Seer warns them instant death awaits. Eventually they discover something is blocking their jumps but an alternate way is discovered, but only one of them can go. Rembrandt decides he will jump back to his home world to continue the fight against the Kromagg.
